Terms We Use

In this space, we use the word “parents” to refer to individuals who have or have had children. We recognize that everyone’s experience is deeply personal, and not everyone may identify with this term—especially those who have experienced loss, infertility, estrangement, or other painful journeys. Our intention is to use inclusive language while honoring the diversity of family experiences. Please use the words that feel right for you.
